Aim of the project

  • Systematic revision of the SREBP approach and transfer of the SREBP method knowledge from Tartu to Rostock and Riga
  • Alignment of the SREBP approach to the enterprise architecture development process, in particular in SME
  • Empirical validation of the proposed alignment and proof of the concept within real-world settings.

Main activities of the project

  1. Analysis of opportunities to perform process-based IT-security analysis in organizations in the regions of Tartu, Riga and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and preparation of application examples
  2. Organization of events on process-based IT-security analysis in Estonia (Business round table)
  3. Development of teaching materials for students and transfer of method knowledge
  4. Analysis of funding opportunities and preparation of an acquisition plan

Target group and number of persons involved

  1. Companies in the regions of Tartu and Riga (co-operation – at least 2 companies, information distribution – at least 10 Estonian companies)
  2. Researchers in the area of Business Informatics (8 doctoral students/ researchers)
  3. Business informatics students at the participating Universities (12 students)
