„University – Business – Forum 2011“ in Tallinn

Between 22.2. – 23.2.2011 the “EFMD Entrepreneurship Conference 2011”was held at Tallinn University of Technology / TSEBA. In the frame of this conference an additional Colloquium on “University – Business – Forum 2011” took place. The main topic of this colloquium was the 3^rd task of universities in regional development and innovation management.
The colloquium was chaired by Prof. Urve Venesaar and Prof. Gunnar Prause. Both professors have experienced leading positions in university management. Since Wismar University represents a German model university oriented on entrepreneurial education, regional development and technology transfer, the event was a forum for the discussion of new concepts and experiences in a scientific dialogue between Central and Eastern Europe. In two workshops and a panel discussion, students, graduate students, invited scientists, entrepreneurs and employees of university management were invited in order to safeguard a broader discussion. The submitted papers will be published in the book series “Regional Business and Socio-Economic Development” of Berliner Wissenschaftverlag  by the end of the year 2011.
