Aim of the project

The goal of the project is to co-organize and attend a workshop at the University of Tubingen and to prepare a proposal for a subsequent project in the EU-frameprogram Horizon 2020. The subsequent project will aim at developing an instrument suitable for systematic ethical analysis of interventions to prevent obesity.

Main activities of the project

  1. The workshop will take place at the University of Tubingen.
  2. The development of the subsequent Horizon 2020 project proposal will be carried out online via email, as well as audio and video conferences.

Target group and number of persons involved

Direct: researchers from University of Latvia, Vilnius University and University of Tubingen. In total, 13 researchers from Eastern and Western Europe have attended the workshop.

Indirect (Public not directly involved in the project activities): Researchers working on ethical aspects of obesity and of prevention in general. In total, aprox. 200 researchers in Europe.
