Aim of the project

To arrange study visits at Witten/Herdecke University and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.

To organise local workshops for student nurses and nurse educators, clinical nurses and their managers with the focus on spiritual needs of chronically ill patients and elderly – research evidence, spiritual needs identification and assessment strategy, quality of spiritual care using interdisciplinary approaches, spiritual care competences.

Lecturers from Germany: Arndt Büssing and dr.Gabriele Stotz-Ingenlath.

This exchange of perspectives and cultural differences was important to develop own competences and for an early dissemination of the topic in education and clinical practice.
