Duration of the project
15.06.2017. - 17.09.2017.
Countries and institutions involved in the project
Aim of the project
The workshop was organised in order to advance a common project on post-socialist urban infrastructures by increasing the mutual coordination across the book to be published with Routledge, so that the content would be better balanced. The book—“Post-Socialist Urban Infrastructures”—is unique in the current publications landscape, as very few publications work on the intersection of post-socialism and urban infrastructures. With the events taking place in Tallinn, more institutional support for research activities in Tallinn has been provided. We aimed to strengthen the research potentials of the Centre for Landscape and Culture by also getting researchers from this Centre to be involved in the project. Improving Baltic-German collaboration and international visibility is vital for the Centre’s activities, and the workshop and the open seminar were fruitful for providing a valuable platform for exchange.
