Duration of the project
15.06.2017. - 15.12.2017.
Countries and institutions involved in the project

Aim of the project
Exchange of knowledge in the field of nanostructured polymer, carbon nanostructure composites; perform research of physical-chemical properties for synthesized polymer samples.
Main activities of the project
Mutual correspondence between involved researchers from Latvia and Germany about synthesis of samples, measurements to be performed, interpretation of the results, mostly using e-mail correspondence and Skype.
Working visit of Latvian 3 young researchers to Institute of Physics of Albert-Ludwig-University of Freiburg with samples prepared in Latvia: research with different techniques, common discussions of results, presentation of their research work in scientific seminar.
Two working visits Dr. B. Zhang (IP of FU, Germany) to Institute of Solid State Physics of University of Latvia with samples prepared in Germany: research with different techniques, common discussions, explanation of results, preparation of common publication.
Target group and number of persons involved
Direct target group – 13 (10 researchers (J.Kleperis, A.Knoks, P.Lesnicenoks, S.Lozkins, J.Hodakovska, M.Vanags, E.Pentjuss, R.Grzibovskis, A.Antuzevics, G.Chikvaidze) from ISSP UL (Latvia) and 3 researchers from Germany (B.Zhang, G.Reiter, R.Reiter)).
Indirect target group – up 500 (26 in seminar in ISSP UL (Latvia) and 21 in seminar in Institute of Physics of Freiburg University (Germany); about 120 visitors/day to ISSP UL stand at Exhibition “Energy and Environment 2017”, Riga, Kipsala (Latvia) from 19 to 22 October, 2017).
