Interdisciplinary approach to enhance the quality of spiritual care for chronically ill patients and elderly

Aim(s) of the project:

Study visits at Witten/Herdecke University and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences

Local workshop for student nurses and nurse educators, clinical nurses and their managers will focus on spiritual needs of chronically ill patients and elderly – research evidence, spiritual needs identification and assessment strategy, quality of spiritual care using interdisciplinary approaches, spiritual care competences.

Lecturers from Germany: Arndt Büssing and Eckhard Frick 

This exchange of perspectives and cultural differences is important to develop own competences and for an early dissemination of the topic in education and clinical practice.
